The aims of the course are to equip delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to prepare shipments of dangerous goods correctly for transportation by air. The course is being run in partnership with Andrew Wakely Associates and is fully approved in the UK by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and ends with a 3 hour UK CAA examination (75% pass mark). Successful delegates will receive a certificate of competence which will be valid for two years. The course does not cover radioactive material (Class 7) which is covered in The Carriage of Radioactive Materials By Air - Two-day Training Course (A020).
