Course Outline
Aims
The aim of this course is to give delegates an understanding of the developments in fuel tank safety and is founded on an in-depth understanding of the principles of the rule-making. It is produced by personnel who have been engaged in the development of SFAR 88 rulemaking in the USA and Europe since its inception in the TWA 800 accident investigation.

- To familiarise delegates with developments arising since the initial rule-making as well as reinforcing the lessons learned.

This course is important for those candidates who were first trained prior to 2008 and useful for other candidates who have had training from internal company training schemes. It is suitable for delegates engaged in the maintenance and airworthiness management of aircraft fuel tank safety systems and components. It is aimed at Supervisory/Management level as well as persons required to carry out tasks.
