The easyWay to Safety The easyWay to Safety
AVISA have recently been invited to work on yet another contract for easyJet. In a recent testimonial, Jorgen Orstam, Technical Director and Head of Engineering at easyJet, explained why AVISA is a contractor of choice for them:
I started working with AVISA when I joined easyJet in November 2007. Based on various recommendations, Justin Goatcher, AVISA’s MD, had been invited to work with easyJet on some of our projects.
Within a short time, Justin and his AVISA colleagues impressed me. I appreciate their professionalism, their general understanding of the aviation industry, of engineering organisations in particular, and their extensive knowledge of regulations.
In addition to working on the standard contract, we used AVISA as consultants to advise in areas where we had doubts about the best way of meeting compliance.
AVISA worked with us on the revision to our technical manuals for the GB Airways integration project. It was key that all of the documentation etc was totally up to date for our inspection. Any problems could obviously lead to easyJet being faced with high unexpected cost when aircraft had to be handed back Lessors, so AVISA’s competence protects easyJet from potential business risk.
On a personal level, we had a great working relationship with all of the AVISA representatives. They fitted in with our teams brilliantly and everyone has only ever had positive things to say about them.
AVISA are a good commercial partner for easyJet, and I look forward to our partnership continuing into the future as we prepare for the challenges of increasing easyJet’s fleet size.
