As well as consolidating our position around the world, AVISA has also been making some changes back at HQ. Our recent expansion has meant that new offices were needed to house our growing team. We’ve not moved far, and can now be found in Suite One, The Cloisters. We hope that you’ll visit us soon and come and have a chat about any new requirements you have.

AVISA are extremely proud to have been selected to work with EasyJet, Europe’s leading low cost airline.
AVISA has put together a bespoke package of support services especially for EasyJet. We are currently providing this wide range of support services which includes the following;
  • Expositions and procedures development aimed at preparing for company expansion and the purchase of GB Airways
  • A320/321 aircraft and records surveys
  • The formulation of a suitable Maintenance Program for the newly acquired aircraft
  • Advise on future structure and best practice
  • A range of training courses

Emirates Towers in Sheikh Zayed Road Working With the Albanian CAA

As Albania’s aviation operators look to expand into Europe, AVISA is working with them to ensure that they are able to meet the high standards required.
AVISA have been contracted through the European Union Air Safety Committee to support the Albanian CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
AVISA will be providing technical advice and training.
The objective of AVISA’s work is to assist the country’s operators as they adopt EASA regulations, and provide them with the oversight system that their industry needs.

Emirates Towers in Sheikh Zayed Road Expansion
AVISA and Terry Gibson Associated are jointly establishing a Dubai presence in order to further explore and develop the Middle-Eastern market. We will be sharing an office at the prestigious Emirates Towers in Sheikh Zayed Road.

Len We are very pleased that Roger Smith has joined AVISA as Airworthiness Consultant. He brings to the team 40 years experience in aircraft engineering gained at some major airlines and MROs in Europe and the Far East.
DAS On 5th March the European Air Safety Committee removed DAS Air Cargo from its list of banned airlines, allowing them to resume services into the EU. AVISA consultant Len Arnot-Perrett had been working with DAS for about 3 months and their combined efforts resulted in DAS being the first Airline to be removed from the blacklist.
PIA On 28th June our client Pakistan International Airlines had its partial ban amended by the EU Air Safety Committee. Thanks to the hard work of AVISA’s Len Arnot-Perrett, PIA is now permitted to enter the EU with some of their 747s and A310s as well as the 777s already permitted. PIA chairman Zaffar Khan praised Len’s guidance as of the highest standard and said the airline was looking forward to his continued future support.
JCB AVISA and JCB Aviation have recently signed an agreement for the Continued Airworthiness Management of JCB’s three aircraft, a Gulfstream 550 and two Sikorsky 76C helicopters. We are very pleased to have added such a widely recognised blue-chip client to our Part-M portfolio.
Len AVISA is delighted to welcome Len Arnot-Perrett to our team of consultants. Len's extensive experience includes 27 years with the UK CAA in managing and policy-making positions and we feel privileged to have him on board.
HAECO In January we delivered a unique training package covering EASA Part-145 and Quality Systems to HAECO Hong Kong on behalf of the UK CAA. We look forward to expanding our service to clients in South-East Asia in the very near future.

We are extremely pleased to announce that Oliver Müller has joined our team as Office Manager. Oliver has a wealth of aviation related administration experience and brings to AVISA his outstanding organisational and co-ordinating skills.

Air Safety Support A major addition to the AVISA client portfolio is Air Safety Support International (ASSI) Ltd, the UK CAA subsidiary responsible for assisting in the development of aviation oversight for the UK Overseas Territories. We will be providing Technical Support services to ASSI and look forward to developing this exciting opportunity to meet the expectations of this key organisation.
SriLankan SriLankan Airlines recently made the decision to add an EASA Part 145 Maintenance approval to their extensive capabilities. They selected AVISA to support them with gaining this approval and we are proud to be associated with this fast growing Asian flag carrier.
Arik Air Arik Air is Nigeria's newest airline, operating out of Lagos, Nigeria, with a fleet of Bombardier CRJ and Boeing 737-300 aircraft. AVISA recently completed a series of courses covering Aviation Quality Systems & Audit Techniques, Quality Awareness and EASA Part 145 Regulations at Arik’s Lagos base.

Farnborough International Airshow 2006 saw AVISA become members of this prestigious consortium. FAC are an autonomous and specialised group that represents the business interests of a wide range of Civil Aviation based organisations. Their objectives are to bring together such organisations, broaden their opportunities and increase the UK's market share. We are proud to be part of this rapidly expanding and highly respected centre of business excellence.

Blue Islands Blue Islands - EASA Part M subpart G contract
AVISA are extremely proud to be associated with Blue Islands and have recently established a Continued Airworthiness Management support service for the companies 3 recently acquired Jetstream 32 aircraft. This included surveying the aircraft and their records before delivery and providing Certificate of Airworthiness certification support. Blue Islands has been providing Channel Islands based regional services for a number of years and has recently expanded its route network requiring these new aircraft.

ATC ALMATY ATC ALMATY - EASA Part 145 approval
AVISA has recently provided ATC Almaty, a line and base maintenance MRO based in Kazakhtsan, with support services to expand its approval to provide Base Maintenance for Boeing 737, 757 and Airbus A310 aircraft. Working closely on this project we managed to jointly achieve the expanded approval in under 4 months! We congratulate them on this remarkable achievement.

ATC Lasham ATC Lasham - Part 145 Human Factors in Aviation Maintenance
Over the past 6 months we have provided nearly 300 ATC Lasham staff with Human Factors training. ATC Lasham now has bases at Lasham Airfield, Southend Airport and St Athan Wales. It is one of the UK?s most successful Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance providers approved for a large number of both Boeing and Airbus types. The programme will continue until the end of September 2006.

Honeywell Aerospace UK Honeywell Aerospace UK - Part 145 Human Factors in Aviation Maintenance
Our programme of Human Factors courses provided to Honeywell Aerospace UK Ltd has spanned 4 months and encompassed over 300 staff based at Bournemouth, Yeovil and Luton. These 3 sites provide Maintenance and Overhaul support for a large number of Air Conditioning, Pneumatic, Oxygen and Hydraulic system components with Luton specialising In Engine Overhaul. Thanks to our unique customer focused approach and careful project management, the Honeywell contract has been delivered on time, on cost and with very favourable feedback.

Airline Services Airline Services - Part 145 Training Package
Christian Hollyer, one of our team of Training Consultants, has recently been involved in a new type of training service with Airline Services. We have delivered a combination product covering Part 145 and Part 21 training courses as well as developing a Continuation Training package to be delivered to all Airline Services staff. This company is a ni che Part 145 and Part 21 approved organisation providing interior refurbishment and maintenance services. They have bases at many UK airports and support both UK and Overseas operators.

Eastern Counties Police Maintenance Eastern Counties Police Maintenance - Part 145 and Quality Management training
This newly formed specialist Helicopter Maintainer has recently embarked on the Part 145 approval process. To support this, AVISA has provided a 4 day training package for the management team covering Part 145 and Quality Management principles. We will also be delivering Human Factors and advanced Quality Audit skills training in the run up to obtaining approval. We wish this new and exciting venture every success in the coming months.

CAA UK CAA International Services - EASA Part 145 and Part M training

In association with AVISA CAA International Services have recently launched these innovative and valuable courses for staff involved in Part 145 or Pa rt M approved organisations. We have, to date, delivered 3 of each course to much acclaim. The following feedback was recently received:
